Education

We try to provide a variety of education options for adults at Rush Creek Christian Church. We have two classes that meet on Sunday mornings as well as shorter studies throughout the year.

Roundtable Class

  • Meets in the Lord Family Life Center (aka Gym)

  • This class has guest speakers from the congregation as well as outside speakers who are experts on their topics. Class time will consist of 10-15 minutes of lecture and then small breakout group discussions.

Contemporary Class

  • Meets in Room #1 (aka the Conference Room)

  • This class is working its way through scripture by watching and discussing videos from The Bible Project.

Fellowship

Men’s Fellowship Breakfast

  • Every Wednesday at 8:00 am in the Choir Room

  • Bring your own breakfast and enjoy some good conversation.

Men’s Ministry First Thursdays 

  • 6:30 to 8:00 pm, 1st Thursday of the month

  • The men meet for dinner at Bobby V’s Restaurant.

Women’s Ministry Lunch

  • 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, 3rd Thursday of the month

  • The women meet in the Friend Center for delicious food and wonderful fellowship. 

Young Women’s Fellowship Group

  • 6:30 to 8:00, 1 evening a month, TBD

  • This group is designed for women in the middle stage of life. Programming and activities are still being determined.

Lunch Bunch

  • 12:00 to 2:00 pm, 2nd Tuesday of the month

  • Lunch Bunch is a group of retirees who meet in the gym for lunch and games.  Bring your own brown bag or carry out lunch.  Dessert is provided by the host of the month.  

Fifth Sunday Fellowship

  • When there is a fifth Sunday in a month, we have an intergenerational fellowship event, such as going to a restaurant, playing board games or watching a movie.
