33 Years of Excellence!

Rush Creek Christian Academy has been offering this ministry to the children of Arlington since 1984 and is committed to providing a quality day program that will stimulate the child’s desire to learn and provide social interaction for the children in a Christian setting. The program is designed to enrich each child’s life in the present with joyful, meaningful, and purposeful experiences. Care for individual needs, enable each child to feel confident and good about self and others and allows exploration of the wonders of the world with excitement and delight. As a Christian program we are committed to structuring a loving and happy environment in which each child has the responsibility, the freedom and the encouragement to become what God created him or her to be.

Our mission is to help each child develop the autonomy as a learner, to have comfortable and productive peer relations, to kindle an excitement for learning, and to learn more about God and the Bible. We admit children of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all the rights and privileges and activities available. Thank you for sharing your children with us.

Classes

Rush Creek Christian Academy operates September through May. Our hours are from 9:00a.m. -2:30p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Our program follows the AISD schedule for holidays, early dismissals, vacations, and inclement weather.

Curriculum

We use the Wee Learn Curriculum, which is developed around themes that provide opportunities for children to learn about God’s world and how to live in it. Activities which embrace physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual development are included under each theme topic. The children are individually and /or group instructed and guided by our teachers in Academics, Crafts, Learning Centers, Bible Lessons, Large Motor Activities, Reading and Writing Readiness, Math Readiness, Basic Science and Social Studies, Health and Safety and Music and Movement. Computer Classes are also an option. Our Learning Centers allow children to explore various centers throughout the room at their own pace, according to their own interests.

RCCA Staff

We have a great family of teachers at RCCA.  All of our teachers are well qualified for their particular class and age group. All teachers are certified in CPR and First Aid.  All teachers participate in annual training of orientation each year plus take additional outside course hours.

Registration

A  non-refundable registration fee is due at the time of enrollment. Annual supply fee is paid twice a year based on enrollment and program needs.
